Barbara Sultan
A strong sense of design has led Barbara Sultan into a bicoastal career
in fashion, painting, sculpture, murals, and electronic arts. In addition
to her work as a artist, Sultan also teaches traditional, as well as electronic,
drawing and painting at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising
in Los Angeles. She is also responsible for several murals in the Los Angeles
Area and the author of three books. Sultan works primarily in two different
mediums when painting. Her traditional paintings are acrylic on canvas,
while her electronic artwork uses cold pressure-fusing with a three colour
transfer process on a thermal wax printer. All her works are hand signed.
Each of the computer generated artworks are limited editions of 50 prints
per images.
